Iran Nuclear Deal

After many years of tension, leaders of the Republic of Iran and a number of international powers created a multi-lateral agreement to regulate Iran’s nuclear programme in June 2015. The plan, known as the “Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action” limited Iran’s nuclear facilities. Numerous EU leaders participated in the negotiations and saw the final agreement as a success.
