Ban on Animal Testing

On March 11, 2013, the EU implemented a complete ban on the sale of all cosmetics tested on animals. From this date forward, all cosmetics and their ingredients could not be tested on animals, regardless of whether or not the testing was carried out in the EU or outside. For animal-rights lobbyists and activists, this ban served as a victory over animal mistreatment and corporate control.
